Swift Diamond Riders’ SnoDeo
The event, which takes place at Coleman State Park, will serve as a showcase for the 2011 snowmobile models from Arctic Cat, Polaris, Ski-Doo, and Yamaha. The SnoDeo, which began, in 1993, as a fund-raiser for the Swift Diamond Riders snowmobile club, has grown into one of the Northeast’s top snowmobile events. It is expected to draw more than 7,500 enthusiasts from all over New England and southern Quebec. AMELIA ISLAND, FLORIDA

Amelia Island Concours d’Elegance
The collector-car auto event, featuring more than 250 rare classics from private collections, will take place at the Golf Club of Amelia Island at Summer Beach and the Ritz-Carlton, Amelia Island. NASCAR legend Richard Petty will serve as the keynote speaker at the concours’ gala dinner.

The weekend also will include an a auto auction conducted by RM Auctions (www.rmauctions.com), on March 13. Among the featured cars will be a 1967 Ferrari 275 GTB/4 Alloy Berlinetta and a rare 1958 Tojeiro Jaguar sports racing car, one of only four built. Other Ferraris going on the block are a 1967 275 GTB/4 Berlinetta and a low-mileage 1972 365 GTB/4 Daytona Spider. www.ameliaconcours.org

MILAN, ITALY

Coppa Milano-Sanremo
Last year’s edition of this classic car race from Milan to San Remo drew 130 cars, all built between 1906 and 1973, the years during which the race originally ran, before its revival in 2003. The registration deadline for participants was January 31. An opening parade of the cars will take place March 12 at the Monza Autodrome in Milan, and the cars will be exhibited later that day at the Piazza del Duomo. The race begins Saturday morning, March 13, at the Piazza. The cars will travel through Pavese, Lomellina, and Imperia before arriving in San Remo that night. www.milano-sanremo.it

FORT LAUDERDALE, FLORIDA

Collector Cars of Fort Lauderdale
RM Auctions’ annual three-day sale will include American and European collector cars—classics, exotics, and muscle cars. Among the featured lots will be a 1931 Cadillac Model 370-A V12 convertible coupe, a 1947 Cadillac Series 62 convertible coupe, a recently restored 1954 Buick Skylark convertible, a 1969 Ford Mustang Mach 1, a 1970 Ford Mustang Boss 302, and a 1964 Corvette that was custom-built under the guidance of famed GM design chief Bill Mitchell for industrialist and Indianapolis racing sponsor Ozzie Olson. The car’s modifications include six taillights, lower front fenders, pearlescent blue paint, and side-mounted exhaust pipes. www.rmauctions.com
