Questions about advertisement submissions
How do I post an advertisement?
What should I type in the form fields of my advertisement?
Please describe the item that you are trying to sell in as much detail as you can. If you're posting an advertisement for a car, tell people about the year, make, model, number of miles, options, etc. If you're posting an advertisement for a piece of real estate for sale or for rent, tell them about the number of bedrooms, bathrooms, and other rooms; about the amenities; etc. It is important that you complete as many fields of information as possible.
How much text can I write in my ad?
Your advertisement can have up to 500 words of text - much more than most classified websites offer.
How many images can I have in my ad?
All advertisements can have a maximum of five images and must have a minimum of one.
What size and type of image do you accept?
All images must have a pixel size of 480w x 360w (smaller images will also be accepted) and must be in either .jpg or .gif format. Submitting images with larger dimensions will cause your advertisement to be rejected.
When I place my advertisement, which categories do I have to choose from?
Your advertisement can appear in one of the following sections:
- Real Estate
- Vehicles
- Art & Home Décor
- Boats & Yachts
- Aircrafts
- Home Furnishings
- Fashion & Accessories
- Other Items
Why isn’t my advertisement online yet?
Please ensure that you are looking in the category that you specified when you uploaded your advertisement. If you are looking in the correct category and still do not see your advertisement, it is still in the approval process. Advertisements are typically approved on the same day submitted, or on the following business day.
How long will it take before my submitted advertisement appears online?
All advertisements are approved before posting and are posted within 48 hours. Advertisements received during the business hours of 8:00am - 5:00pm PST are typically approved the same day. If the advertisement is received after business hours, it will be approved the next business day.
How much does it cost to advertise on the Robb Report Collection website?
The price of each classified advertisement or professional listing is $100 for 1 month.
Which forms of payment do you accept?
We accept Visa and MasterCard.
When is my credit card charged?When you submit your advertisement and credit card information, your card is only captured, not approved. We only charge your credit card upon approval and posting of your ad.
I entered my credit card information and my computer crashed before I finished uploading my ad. What should I do?
