Telluride, Colorado

Resorts West—a resort-property rental and sales agency in Park City, Utah—collaborated with Deer Valley Resort and Ski Magazine to design this, the Ski Magazine Dream Home. It’s set atop Deer Valley’s Little Baldy Peak, at an elevation of 8,000 feet, in the Deer Crest gated community. The home has six bedrooms, 10 bathrooms, and 14,000 square feet of living space spread over three and a half floors. It also features 4,500 square feet of wraparound deck and patio space and an outdoor heated pool. The home offers easy access to the Jordanelle express gondola and the Deer Crest chairlift. The home’s highlights are a recreation room with a DJ booth, a dance floor, a wet bar, a 60-inch plasma screen, a pool table, and a 550-gallon aquarium containing trout; and a theater equipped with 7.4 surround sound, stadium seating, a high-definition projector, and a 124-inch screen. Victory Lodge is a nine-bedroom, 16,500-square-foot estate set on 3.2 acres in the Sierra Nevada. The room also contains what is said to be the world’s largest elk-antler chandelier.
