Crystal Farm & Lazy CF Ranch
In Walt Disney’s Beauty and the Beast, the macho Gaston sings that he uses antlers in all of his decorating—and while it is certainly possible to overload an interior with the seasonal castoffs of male deer and elk, a well-placed piece can enhance a rustic decor. (Click images to enlarge)

Colorado’s Crystal Farm has a collection encompassing chandeliers and furniture, each created with antlers shed during the spring and collected by cowboys and hikers. Crystal Farm says that each antler it uses is chosen carefully for condition and form. (Because elk tend to live at higher elevations, their antlers are more difficult to source and are therefore more expensive.) Prices for chandeliers start at $2,450 and reach $30,000 for the 9 ft. Duke chandelier. Furniture from Lazy CF Ranch, meanwhile, mimics the appearance of antlers in powder-coated cast aluminum and can be used either indoors or outdoors. Prices for tables range from $1,500 to $4,500 and the Bistro table sells for $2,500. Lazy CF Ranch also offers chairs, benches, and stools.
