June 7: Bonhams presents A Sale of Important Collectors’ Motor Cars and Related Automobilia featuring the "Ted Leonard" Collection in Greenwich, Conn. Highlights include a 1929 Rolls-Royce Phantom I Ascot Tourer, estimated at $150,000 to $200,000. The vintage Rolls was driven by Robert Redford in the 1974 movie of F. Scott Fitzgerald’s The Great Gatsby.

June 11: A complete copy of Coronelli’s 1698 Prima Parte dello Specchio de Mare, with 25 maritime charts of the north coast of the Mediterranean, will be offered at Swann Galleries’ Maps & Atlases, Natural History & Historical Prints auction. Coronelli added engraved frontispieces to the atlas, which is expected to bring between $20,000 and $30,000.

June 12: Japanese designer Shiro Kuramata’s Miss Blanche chair is predicted to sell for at least $150,000 at Sotheby’s Important 20th Century Design auction. Imitation roses appear to float within an acrylic block, meant to reflect the dreamlike world of Blanche Dubois from Tennessee Williams’ A Streetcar Named Desire.

June 21: The Rodeo Drive Concours d’Elegance will include more than 100 exotic cars and will feature classic alternative-energy vehicles such as steam, electric, and hybrid models.

June 23: Christie’s will offer one of Bob Dylan’s earliest-known published poems at its June 23rd Pop Culture auction at Rockefeller Center. The poem, written by a teenage Dylan then known as Bobby Zimmerman, was published in his summer-camp newsletter, and is expected to sell for $10,000 to $15,000.
