STATS: The 8,500-square-foot
house rests on a 13,700-square-foot beachfront parcel that includes an L-shaped
swimming pool and tropical landscaping. Within the four-bedroom home are such
details as mosaic-tile ceilings in the living room, onyx countertops in the
kitchen, a pounded-copper front door and kiln-fired brick columns throughout. A travertine marble staircase leads to the expansive master suite, which
faces the ocean and has its own sundeck with a Moroccan daybed. The home is
being sold furnished with North African and Asian accents.
WHAT SETS IT APART: "There are several beachfront homes in the area, but none of them are as elegant as this," says operations manager Laura Fudge. "The custom finishes and detailed architecture give the home a lot of character—it’s not your typical beach house."
