Xtreme F650 2007
01/01/2007
The name pretty much says it all. F650 SuperTruck starts out with Ford’s commercial series F-650 cab and chassis, adds the bed from an F-350 pickup and then carries things to the extreme by building a crew cab dualie pickup that meets an individual’s desires regarding styling, comfort, and hauling capabilities. The standard equipment list includes items that will make a big rig driver feel at home, starting with the 7.2-liter Caterpillar 300-hp diesel engine, air suspension, air brakes, and even air horns. You climb up into the cab using steps built into the twin 50-gallon polished-aluminum fuel tanks. Alcoa 10-lug, 22.5-inch polished aluminum wheels are standard, but you can go bigger. You can also order larger 85-gallon fuel tanks, four-wheel drive, dual exhaust stacks, a rear-view camera, air-ride leather captain’s chairs, a 3-DVD entertainment system with drop-down screens, Playstation 2, and myriad chrome-plated items. And if you feel an extreme need for attention, there’s a trio of real chrome-plated diesel-locomotive horns.PRICE: $94,000
