The technology in all-terrain vehicles (ATVs) has advanced dramatically since they were first introduced, and Yamaha’s products are among the best currently on the market. Its top offering in the utility ATV category is the Grizzly 660 (above). Featuring a patented 660cc engine, an advanced four-wheel-drive system with a differential lock, and fully independent front and rear suspensions, the Grizzly, Yamaha says, can power through the South’s deepest bogs and negotiate the North’s highest peaks. Prices range from $7,099 to $7,399. The 660R Raptor (below) is the company’s best sport ATV. Using the same 660cc motor as the Grizzly, the Raptor offers features uncommon in high-performance ATVs, including a reverse gear and an electric starter. Prices start at $6,499 and go to $6,699.
