Featherlite Vantaré
The finest resorts address you by name, and stock your blend and smoke of choice. But even the most thoughtful, attentive hotel cannot replace home. Which is why Featherlite suggests you take your home—and your lifestyle—with you. Its coaches have been called rolling Ritz-Carltons, and Featherlite takes pains to differentiate itself from the RVs found at the local campground.

With up to 20,000 lbs of towing capacity, two cars will easily tote behind in the trailer.  (Click image to enlarge.)

The 40 to 50 conversions that Featherlite builds each year start with commercial-grade shells and chassis, and they enjoy a standard of finish the company says is on a par with the finest yachts. Featherlite starts with Prevost shells that feature million-mile chassis with a 14-liter, 515 hp Detroit Diesel engine, an Allison automatic transmission, independent front suspension, disc brakes, and air suspension. The coaches are comfortable enough to cover 1,000 miles in a day with minimal fatigue if circumstances dictate. They can also tow up to 10 tons—with a trailer, two cars can come along.

The Super Slide layout provides added space inside, and plenty of room for a king-size bed. (Click image to enlarge.)

Featherlite offers the Vantaré H3-45 in eight floor plans on a 45-foot chassis; a 40-foot XLII model may be requested should exterior size and maneuverability top your priority list. Seven of the layouts include Super Slide capabilities that increase square footage, and it is possible to have a stateroom with space for a king-size bed, dual nightstands, and a wardrobe.
