Bentley Continental GT/GTC 2007

01/01/2007

When introduced in 2003, the Bentley Continental GT instantly captured the public imagination with a rakish fastback design and sporting demeanor designed to emulate the R-Type Continental of the 1950s. Though built in larger numbers than its stablemate the Arnage, the Continental GT still displays the Bentley luster. With its beautifully appointed interior, twin-turbocharged W-12 engine that produces 552 hp, and all-wheel drive, there is nothing entry level about the marque’s least expensive model. This luxury and performance—a Continental GT will hit 60 mph in around 4.7 seconds and has a top speed just shy of 200 mph—have rightfully earned the car an enthusiastic following. And recently added to the lineup is the Continental GTC, a drop-top variant of the coupe model that makes only slight performance concessions in the interest of open-air motoring.
