The Aston Martin DB9 is as much rolling aluminum sculpture as it is an exotic British sports car, and it has all the street presence anyone can bear. The sound of its 5.9-liter V-12 engine confirms what your eyes have already told you: that something very special is coming this way. With perfect weight distribution thanks to its axle-mounted 6-speed transmission (manual or driver-controlled automatic), the DB9 feels more nimble than its two-ton mass might suggest.
