Schnitzer BMW 7-Series 2007
January 1, 2007
Making changes to a machine as carefully developed as the 7-Series BMW is a task that should be approached with considerable caution. Few owners would tolerate having this model’s exquisite balance of refinement and understatement compromised. So, with its ACS7 conversion, AC Schnitzer has concentrated largely on visual enhancements. First, there’s a suspension kit that produces a modestly lower stance. Then, more aggressive front and rear fascias are added. The front fascia houses additional air scoops and driving lights, and the rear molding is available with or without visible exhaust tips. Tasteful roof- and rear deck-mounted spoilers punctuate the overall appearance, while an optional Chromeline package adds bright trim to the new panels. Three styles of thin-spoke forged alloy wheels in 19-, 20- and 22-inch diameters are offered. Inside, the ACS7 sports alloy pedals and a unique control knob for the iDrive system. These elements, like the exterior enhancements, closely match the original BMW components in quality of material and finish.
