Hanhart
If you are restoring a ’56 Continental for use in rallies or
adding a vintage look to your new Mini Cooper, a mechanical stopwatch from
Hanhart might be the perfect accent for the interior of your prized ride. In
business since 1862, Hanhart is now offering its latest edition of
chromium-plated dashboard mounts to assist drivers in time management while en
route.
What Hanhart calls “slide-in technology” brings a new ease of
installation to its line of automotive accessories and facilitates application.
Assembly takes a matter of seconds, with an integrated system of ball springs
and pillars stabilizing and immediately securing your Hanhart watch. And with an
added special rubber surface attached to the back of the metal plate, rough
terrain and speed bumps fail to faze the instrument’s shock protection. (Click image to enlarge)
For
those customers who refuse to limit themselves to a single addition timer, hour
counter, tachy-telemeter, or dashboard clock, a number of variants are
available, enabling you to mount one, two, or three stopwatches on your dash.
Mounts also come with matte or polished finishing and the high-end lever
escapement option. Eric Armin Inc. is the American importer for the German-based
manufacturer and offers limitless customization of your order. The clock, timer
and mount pictured above retail for $1,430.
