The MoonDuster 08 AeroPod displays a number of automotive references. Its creator, Toronto-based artist and furniture maker Dean Jackson, refers to the finish as an Alfa Romeo blue and notes that the cabinet’s highly polished quarter-matched walnut (trimmed with sapele mahogany) evokes the interior of a luxury car. The 10 walnut burl drawers are lined with royal blue silk velvet, making them ideal for storing watches, collectibles, or jewelry. The MoonDuster 08 is one of nine AeroPod designs from Jackson.
